Data Collection

Description:

We are seeking participants to contribute to the iDots project by recording a couple of short video clips (each 40–45 seconds long) while looking at specific visual patterns from set distances. The entire task takes about 30 minutes and it is designed to be completed in a single session.

Purpose:

This project aims to collect video data from individuals with certain eye conditions to help improve our client’s AI technology, making it more accessible and inclusive for people with diverse visual needs.

Main requirements:

Ability to understand and communicate in English
Must have at least one of the following eye conditions:

- - Strabismus
  - Nystagmus
  - Lazy eye
  - Single eye/Glass eye
  - Keratoconus
  - Pigment dispersion syndrome
  - Kruckenberg’s Spindles
  - Damaged iris
  - Dry eyes
  - Watery eyes
  - Corneal lesions/scarred cornea
  - Prosthetic irises
Onsite participants: must be able and willing to commute to the designated location in New York City

Remote participants: must own or have access to an iPad mini – 6th generation
