Description:

In this project, participants will post-edit machine-translated content from English to the target native language, ensuring effective communication of the intended message while preserving cultural relevance and appropriateness for the target audience.

Purpose:

The purpose of this project is to translate prompts and replies on sensitive topics such as bullying, abuse, suicide, sexual content, and related issues. The translated content will be used to ensure that the target language speaking users receives accurate and culturally appropriate responses on these topics.

Main requirements:

  • Fluency in English (US) and Native Speaker of one the languages listed in the table, with excellent written communication skills in both languages.
  • Proven experience in translation, particularly in translating content related to sensitive topics or social issues.
  • Knowledge of cultural nuances and sensitivities in different regions where your native language is spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in translation.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Familiarity with Alexa and conversational AI technologies is a plus.

PLEASE NOTE: We are only looking for native speakers of the languages specified above, and you will be required to take a translation certification to qualify for the project.
