You need

  • A computer and a steady connection.
  • A quiet room and headphones.
  • Patience for detail over speed.
You do not need
  • To have transcribed before.
  • A degree.
  • To pay anything, ever.
  • To be free at set hours.

Before you start

How much can I work?
As much as you want. No minimum, no schedule.
How am I paid?
In US dollars through Payoneer or PayPal, with no fees taken out.
Do I need experience?
No. Your ear is the qualification, not a degree.
What software do I need?
None. It runs in your browser. Bring headphones.
How long are the recordings?
Long-form: interviews and panels that run well past a few minutes. You work through a file in passes, not one sitting.
What if I make a mistake?
Your first files are reviewed and you get specific feedback. Correcting early work is part of the project.
