Vega Audio Collection – QA 

Description:  

In this project, your task will be ensuring the quality and consistency of bilingual text scripts and audio recordings. Your linguistic expertise will be essential in maintaining high standards of naturalness, accuracy, culturally appropriate language use, and correct code-switching across all project deliverables. 

Your activities include: 

• Conducting comprehensive quality checks on bilingual conversation scripts in accordance with project specifications and style guides. 

• Providing precise, actionable feedback and making necessary edits to ensure linguistic accuracy, contextual relevance, and natural code-switching 

• Performing quality assessments of bilingual audio recordings, including evaluating audio clarity, speaker fluency, accurate code-switching execution, and adherence to recording guidelines. 

• Systematically documenting quality issues, trends, and improvement recommendations using provided tools and templates. 

• Collaborating closely with project managers and data collection teams to clarify guidelines and ensure consistent quality standards across the project. 

Purpose:  

This project aims to improve AI-related tools. 

Main Requirements: 

• Native-level proficiency in the language pairs involved (see list) 

• Professional working proficiency in English (US). 

• Proven experience in linguistic quality control, editing, proofreading, translation, or related language-focused roles. 

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in both written and spoken content. 

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fully remote environment. 

Other Requirements:

• Previous experience working on AI, machine learning, speech, or data collection projects is highly preferred. Strong written communication skills for providing clear, constructive, and actionable feedback. 

• Familiarity with online quality assurance tools, documentation platforms, and collaborative workflows is an advantage. 

• Candidates must have access to a reliable computer and a stable, high-speed internet connection.
