Board-Certified Clinical Notes Specialist
Description:
We are seeking United States–based, board-certified Medical Doctors with relevant specialty certifications and a minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical practice experience. The physician will independently listen to doctor-patient conversations and create high-quality clinical notes as part of their normal clinical workflow, utilizing standard templates and documentation practices commonly used in U.S. healthcare settings. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to U.S. medical documentation standards.
Participants will:
- Independently write comprehensive and accurate clinical notes
- Utilize specialty-appropriate documentation templates (e.g., SOAP, H&P, progress notes, discharge summaries)
- Ensure clinical documentation meets U.S. standards of care, medical accuracy, and completeness
- Apply clinical reasoning consistent with board-certified physician practice
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations
- Incorporate specialty-specific terminology, diagnostics, and treatment plans appropriately
- Complete documentation in a timely and efficient manner
Purpose:
The goal of this project is to understand how physicians naturally document patient encounters across different specialties, practice settings, and documentation styles.
The clinical notes collected will be used to analyze variation in structure, language, and clinical reasoning so that documentation tools can be evaluated and improved to better reflect real physician workflows.
Important: Notes are used for research and product improvement purposes only—to help ensure future clinical documentation technologies are accurate, useful, and aligned with how physicians actually practice.
