Description:  

Participants will be given 10 short prompts to record 12 times in different speeds and emotion within 1 second. 

 

Purpose:  

This project aims to gather data on various wake words/phrases from diverse speakers from various ethnicities and demographics to capture an extensive range of audio data to bolster the development of sophisticated wake-word detection algorithms. 

Main requirements: 

  • Must be physically located in the United States. 
  • Must be fluent English speaker. 
  • Must be willing to answer the required demographic survey. 

    

 Other important information: 

  • Required Resources: PC/Laptop/Smartphone/Tablet, Internet Connection, Headset, Microphone 
  • We will provide guidelines and instructions, so you understand what to expect and what to do with the project.
