Description:  

We are looking for pairs of adult participants to take part in a one-day in-home study focused on everyday household activities. Participants will be asked to enact 28 simple, real-life scenarios such as cooking, eating, reading, and cleaning at their own homes. 

Main Requirements: 

• Being 18+ years old 
• Living in Greater Seattle or Las Vegas
• Feeling comfortable being recorded while performing the tasks 
• Willing to provide access to areas of your home such as: 
  • Entryway 
  • Living room with TV 
  • Dining area 
  • Kitchen 
  • Bedroom
  • Home Office (optional)
  • Garage (optional)
• Willing to use your own food, utensils, plates, and kitchen equipment. Focus is more on baking.
• Scenarios with pets like feeding, grooming and playing with them.
• Scenarios in which you are taking care of indoor plants.

Other important information: 

• No special skills or acting experience needed—just be yourself! 
• This is a great opportunity to contribute to a unique in-house study in a comfortable and familiar environment—your own home. 
• Baking/Cooking Scenario: During the session, you will be asked to bake something (for example, cakes, cookies, baked potatoes, baked apples, baked mac n cheese, baked chicken, casseroles, lasagna, baked fish). In case you don’t have an oven, you may prepare your usual meal.
