Description:  

Each participant will be asked to record the following: 

  • Prepared text reading (provided by us) – Approx. duration: 9 minutes 
  • Freeform speech (we will provide the topic and notes: 30% of the sentences should include 1 or more entities, like names, numbers, dates etc.) – Approx. duration: 9 minutes 
  • Voicemail speech (we will provide the scenario and notes: 30% of the sentences should include 1 or more entities, like names, numbers, dates, etc.) – Approx. duration: 18 minutes 

 

Purpose:  

This project aims to improve AI-related technologies. 

Main requirements: 

Each speaker: 

  • Must be 12-17 years old. 
  • Must be a native speaker of Dutch (Netherlands) or Norwegian (Bokmal). 
  • Must own a desktop computer/laptop. 
  • Must have built-in, wired or Bluetooth headset.  
  • Must complete a demographic survey to apply.

 We will provide guidelines and instructions, so you understand what to expect and what to do with the project.  

Signed consent form is required when participating.

  • Due to the nature of the project, you MUST be a native speaker of one of the languages stated above in order to apply. If you are not, please do not apply or your application will be automatically rejected.
