Identity Verification  –  What You Need to Know

As part of our efforts to keep OneForma secure and compliant, we may ask you to verify your identity. This process is quick, secure, and essential to ensure the integrity of our community.

Why am I being asked to verify my identity?
You’ll be prompted to complete verification when applying for certain jobs. This helps us:
               •             Prevent fraud and impersonation
               •             Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
               •             Ensure a safe and trustworthy environment for everyone

How does the identity verification process work?
If you are required to complete identity verification, you will receive an email with a secure link to begin the process. The verification is handled by our trusted third-party provider, Persona.

 Once you open the link, you’ll be guided through a few simple steps:
               1.           Select your document country – choose the country that issued your identification document.
               2.           Select your document type – for example, a government-issued ID, passport, or driver’s license.
               3.           Take a picture of your document – use your device’s camera to take clear photos of the front and back of your document.
               4.           Take a selfie – this step helps confirm your identity.
               5.           (If required) Provide proof of address – you may be asked to share a picture of a utility bill or recent bank statement.
               6.           You’ll see a confirmation screen once everything is submitted.

 Most verifications are completed within just a few minutes. In some cases, your submission may be sent to manual review, which can take up to 1–2 business days. If your verification is successful, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If we’re unable to verify your identity, you’ll also be notified by email, and your platform access may be restricted.

If you start the process on a device without a working camera, you can easily switch to another device to complete the verification – just follow the prompt to continue on another device.

Why was my verification sent to manual review?

In some cases, the information provided during the identity verification process may trigger additional checks. For example, if there are inconsistencies between submitted details and official records, or if your submission falls under certain review criteria.
To ensure everything is accurate and compliant, these verifications are sent for manual review. This process usually takes 1–2 business days. You’ll be notified via email once a decision has been made.


Why was my verification unsuccessful?

We weren’t able to verify your identity based on the documents or information you submitted. This can happen for several reasons, including:

               •             The information in your document(s) didn’t match what was expected or required
               •             The selfie didn’t meet verification criteria

You have up to three attempts to successfully complete the verification. If your submission was rejected due to image quality or similar issues, please make sure your next attempt meets the requirements (clear image, complete document, valid ID, good lighting, etc.).
