Description
Participants will be provided you with a source text (math questions), terminology and a machine-translated (MT) target text. They will be asked to post-edit the MT version and verify the term translation ensuring that:
- Domain terminology is translated accurately. If MT translation is incorrect, they’ll need to provide the correct translation.)
- Sentences are natural and fluent. If not, they’ll be asked to adjust the text order so that readers can understand the questions more easily.
Purpose
This project aims to improve machine translation.
Main requirements
- Being a native speaker of the target language (see table).
- Being fluent in English.
- Being familiar with Mathematical terms.
- Having a Translation or Linguistics background, such as a BA or MA.
