Description:  

Participants will take part in a structured recording session designed to support the development of AI systems capable of recognizing and understanding human voice and facial expressions. Each participant will be recorded using both camera and microphone while performing a series of guided tasks, such as speaking short phrases, reading prompts aloud, and making simple facial or head movements (e.g., smiling, turning the head, looking in specific directions). Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours and may take place either at a designated recording site (rental location) or at the participant’s home, depending on the scheduling arrangement. All data collected will be handled securely and used exclusively for research and technology development purposes to improve AI accuracy and performance in real-world conditions. 

Purpose:  

This paid study aims to collect video and audio recordings from participants to capture diverse, real-world environments. The goal is to support the development of spatially aware vision models that emphasize natural human behavior, environmental context, and diversity. 

Main Requirements: 

• Must be 18 +  

• Willing to commit to a 1.5-hour session within the project window (late October 2025 – late January 2026); flexible for weekday or weekend scheduling. 

• Have reliable transportation to reach the recording site or accommodate in-home sessions (if eligible).  

• Able to follow instructions carefully (in English), arrive on time, and consent to being recorded on both audio and video for research and development purposes. 

• Must be physically located in one of the active project areas (New York City, New Jersey, Florida, or Las Vegas). 

Compensation: 

New York & New Jersey: 

• Onsite Participant – $120 

• In Participant Homes – $180 
   

Las Vegas & Florida: 

• Onsite Participant – $100 

• In Participant Homes – $150
