Description:  

Participants will be asked to post-edit machine-translated content (MTPE) to meet high linguistic standards, as well as evaluate and refine Reading Test translations for: 

• Accuracy 

• Fluency  

• Cultural relevance 

They will apply grammatical rules to create or correct language-specific test examples. They’ll also review and enhance output produced by other linguists for: 

• Terminology consistency 

• Style adherence 

• Quality control 

Participants will work with linguistic annotation tools as required. 

Purpose: 

This initiative plays a key role in improving machine translation and test content accuracy. 

Main Requirements: 

• Native-level proficiency in Bosnian, including dialects and regional variants. 

• Fluent in English for reading instructions and collaborating with the team. 

• Prior experience in MTPE and linguistic QA tasks. 

• Proven ability to spot and correct subtle linguistic errors. 

• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high work quality. 

• Familiarity with linguistic tools is a plus. 

• Preferred (but not required): Degree in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field. 

• Prior work with standardized test content or assessment materials.
